Fiverr Pro freelancers can now showcase recommendations from external clients directly on their profiles. This new tool allows clients who haven't used Fiverr to leave reviews, helping potential customers get a more comprehensive picture of the freelancer's skills and experience.
How does it work?
Pro freelancers who have less than three reviews can add up to five external recommendations from customers they’ve worked with in the past.
When prompted, here is what you should do to get the external reviews added to your profile:
- Ensure you're logged in and navigate to your Fiverr Pro Profile by clicking on the "Take me to my Fiverr Pro profile" button.
- Locate the "recommendations" section. On the left side of your profile, scroll down until you find the section labeled "recommendations."
- Complete the form and submit your request. Fill out all required fields within the recommendation request form and click the button to send it.
- Await review. Your recommendation request will undergo a review process conducted by Fiverr's Pro team.
- Publication upon approval. If your request is approved, the recommendation will be published on your freelancer profile for visibility to potential clients.
After a recommendation is submitted, it will be processed and assigned one of the following statuses, keeping you informed of its progress:
- Approved - the review will automatically be published on the freelancer’s profile.
- Rejected - the review was not approved by Fiverr’s internal team. At this point, the customer may be asked to amend it and will have two weeks to do so.
- Pending - this marks that the review is undergoing the internal review process.
How do I know if I can add external recommendations to my profile?
Eligible freelancers will receive an email and a popup notification.
Is the feature available on the app?
This feature is not yet available on the app.
Can I add all my previous customers?
Yes, however, only the first 5 customer recommendations are shown on your profile. Keep in mind that a business domain email is required for each submission.
How long is Fiverr’s internal evaluation process?
The review process may take up to two weeks.
Will I get notified if my submission is rejected?
Both freelancers and customers will be notified via email. The customer has up to two weeks to resubmit the request.
What happens if the request is rejected twice?
If the submission is rejected twice, the customer will no longer be able to amend it. However, the freelancer can delete the request and create a new entry.
