Client cancelation process for hourly orders

Stay confident with hourly orders 

At Fiverr Pro, we trust our freelancers to deliver excellent work and prioritize your business needs. If the weekly report is not what you expected, or you have any issues, you can dispute it within 72 hours. 

 

How does it work? 

When working on an hourly order, the freelancer will manually log hours in the order page.

For each session of hours, they are required to explain which items they completed during the reported hours and add either a detailed description of the work they did or a file to support the service description (at least one of these two options). The file can be the work they have done, a screenshot supporting it, or a detailed hourly report from a tracking app.

You’ll receive the previous week's report for review every Monday, and you’ll have 72 hours from the moment you are charged (from Monday to Thursday) to review it. Once this period expires, It will be deemed that you have accepted the services detailed in the weekly report. 

Within this timeframe, if the work described in the weekly report does not meet your expectations, you can contact the freelancer and request a refund.
Just go to your order page and click on the Resolution Center, located on the right side of the page.

 

Once you ask for a refund, the freelancer will have up to 48 hours to accept or decline the request. 

If the freelancer accepts the request or doesn't respond within 48 hours, you will get the funds immediately. Refunds are added to your Fiverr Pro Balance, ready for future orders.

If the freelancer declines the request or you’re unable to resolve things directly, you can contact our Customer Support Team within 7 days after the weekly report is marked as complete (10 days from billing day). They will step in and ensure you get a refund on eligible weekly reports.

 

Keep in mind

Unless a refund request is submitted, funds are released to the freelancer as scheduled 7 days after the weekly report is marked as complete. If you wish to request a refund, you must do so within this timeframe. After this period ends, the payment from the previous week will no longer be refundable.

Important note

  • All Fiverr Pro Terms of Service and Payment Terms apply. 
  • Disputes may only address the hours reported in a weekly report. Fiverr does not guarantee the quality of work and Fiverr’s Customer Support will not accept disputes regarding the quality of services. 
  • The refund amount is limited to the number of hours reported by the freelancer. 
  • Weekly reports are auto-completed if you don’t ask for a refund within 72 hours from the weekly payment.
  • Clients are strictly prohibited from using a canceled delivery. The freelancer retains all rights to the canceled order. 
  • Fiverr reserves the right to determine which orders are eligible, and to exclude instances of abuse, fraud, or any other inappropriate activity.
